The classic has a beautifully balanced tonkotsu broth, while the Spicy Tan Tan is richer, creamier and deeper, layered with miso, cashew, chili and savory niku miso.

The smoked dashi ramen was fire.

The original tonkotsu was an excellent bowl, and the fried fish buns were amazing — highly recommend.

The noodle texture is perfect.

Loved the gyoza — you know it's good when you can't wait even though it'll burn your tongue.

The summer Hiyashi Chuka was bright and refreshing, with incredibly springy, addictive noodles.

Great attention to detail and great service — easily one of the best ramens I've had in Manhattan.
